A successful gift registry program is a very important component in the success
of any great kitchen and tabletop store. The gift registry at Marcel’s
launched shortly after our opening in September 2011. Since then, many couples
have come in, walked the floor with one of our staff and item by item, created
the registry of their dreams. In the ensuing months, before their big event,
family and friends stop in to select gifts for the registrants and we all love
not only helping them pick out the perfect thing, but getting to know them as
well! Recently, our son Max and his partner Rob were married in northern
Michigan. It was a small “destination” wedding, and their
Marcel’s registry was busy busy busy!! My family and many friends live in
Michigan and so do Rob’s. As the celebration neared, the phone was ringing and
we were faxing and emailing copies of their registry, helping people shop over
the phone and then wrapping and shipping their gifts. As Marcel’s retail
manager, you can imagine my delight at seeing all those beautifully wrapped
Marcel’s boxes waiting for them at the reception! And now for some very
exciting news!! With the launch of our new and improved website, gift
registries at Marcel’s are now available to view on line! Simply “click”,
