Years ago I had a business idea to create coffee flavored coffee cakes. I wanted to call the business Java Cakes. I had created the amazing coffee cake recipe and I included coffee right in the cake. It was delicious and the inspiration for this granola. Imagine a vanilla latte butter cake topped with a cinnamon toffee crumble and drizzled with a vanilla icing. Our Chocolate Chip Granola is our take on a classic chocolate chip cookie. Many Years ago, I worked with a woman named Brenda and she made the best chocolate chip cookies. They were a perfect balance of brown sugar cookie dough with a hint of salt and just the right amount of chocolate chips. Her recipe was the inspiration for this granola and I must say, it turned out perfectly!!
